Hydrofera Blue® antibacterial foam dressings are proven effective against a broad spectrum of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria and yeast.
Hydrofera Blue® offers two distinct foam varieties – polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and polyurethane (PU) – which are infused with two organic pigments: methylene blue and gentian violet. These absorptive dressings are designed to support infection control, manage bioburden3, and promote the healing process. They are proven to kill bacteria within the dressing, while helping to maintain a moist wound healing environment3.
